My Affordable Summer Scent Picks

I find myself reaching for the same scents on these beautiful summer days we’re getting of late. If you love smelling fruity and floral and you need present-buying help – whether giving or receiving – take a look at these affordable scents!

1. Juicy Couture – Viva La Juicy: I’m a big fan of the aesthetic of JC’s bottles, so whichever you get you’ll be buying something stunning. Described as a sweet scent with bursts of orange, honeysuckle and a settled base of caramel and vanilla, this perfume is a favourite of mine if I’m feeling a little luxurious. The best deal I could find for you is £32.99 for a whopping 100ml from Perfume Direct.

2. Ghost Eclipse: I’m a massive fan of Ghost scents – Original is pretty much a Holy Grail if I had to pick only one for eternity. Eclipse is more of a crisp, citrus scent with hints of lemon and peach, with added touches of Lotus flower and musk to rope in a bit of sophistication. A perfect handbag scent to keep you smelling fresh through the summer. I found a great deal – 75ml for just £25 from Superdrug!

3. The Body Shop: Madagascan Vanilla Flower mist: Vanilla is hands down my favourite scent and what better way to pretend you’re on holiday than dousing yourself in it?! This is a body mist so not as long-lasting as a perfume, but a great excuse to spray a blend of ‘floral and oriental accords’ head to toe. I couldn’t find this on their website unfortunately but they still stock the scent in their stores I believe.

4. The Body Shop: Japanese Cherry Blossom mist: Another gorgeous product from The Body Shop! This underrated scent blends sweet magnolia, cherry blossom and hinoki wood, producing a sensual summer scent, leaving you smelling like a sweet shop. Be you with a cherry on top and grab 100ml from The Body Shop for just £8.50. They’re also offering 25% off non-sale items at the moment so make sure you have a browse!

There we have it. Let me know any scents you’re using at the moment and based on my preferences above, whether you think I’ll like them or not! Happy browsing,
